Finance and Administration Services employees gathered for a focus group meeting to discuss the four topics chosen as a result of the Great Colleges to Work For Survey. The four topics that we’re focusing on developing within our division include:
- Training & Professional Development
Each team gave a brief presentation on its topic and FAS employees were encouraged to pick a topic that they would be interested in providing feedback, ideas and solutions.
Corporal Ken Forney received an award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his contributions towards this cause. He made 23 DUI arrests in 2014. Great work Corporal!

Our division had the honor of hearing speaker Corey Ciocchetti’s talk: “Inspire Integrity: Chasing An Authentic Life”. Congratulations to our very own Ryan Russell for graduating from the academy on February 4, 2015. Ryan started at CSUSM in 2005 as a CSO then became a dispatcher at the department. CSUSM recognized his leadership ability and made an investment in Ryan by putting him through the academy. We are pleased to welcome him back to campus as an officer.
